The Tripp Lite SMX1200XLHG gives you medical-grade UPS protection with built-in line-interactive voltage regulation, expandable battery runtime and intelligent monitoring with unattended shutdown capability. Tested to CE/IEC 60601-1 standard as medical electrical equipment, this UPS features a built-in isolation transformer with Faraday shield that provides full line isolation, removes common mode noise, and maintains full AC surge suppression in all modes.

This Hospital Grade UPS is resistant to electrostatic discharge and includes high quality outlets with a hospital-grade plug. Its 1000VA/750W power handling capacity supports computers, inter-networking equipment and other critical loads during commercial power failures. An external battery connector allows configuration for several additional hours of runtime during power failures with the addition of one or more external battery packs (available separately). Line interactive voltage regulation corrects brownouts as low as 155V and overvoltages as high as 274V back to normal 230V levels. This saves battery reserves for use only during complete power failures.

Two (2) built-in communications ports (1 USB, 1 DB9) work with the included PowerAlert Software and cabling to provide automatic unattended shutdown of connected network and PC applications.
