The dependable P579-009-4K6 (M/F) connects to your existing DisplayPort cable to extend the run by nine-feet (2.7 meters). This allows you more flexibility in placing, for instance, a cable box or media server connected to a DisplayPort-enabled television, monitor or projector. The male connector latches securely to help prevent the cable from becoming accidentally disconnected and disrupting a continuous audio/video signal.

This extension cable supports 8K Ultra HD resolutions up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz with multi-channel sound. It’s compatible with DisplayPort 1.4 standards for HDR, providing a wide range of vibrant colors with richer contrast, brighter whites and deeper blacks. HDCP 2.2 compliance allows you to stream 4K content with no complications. This cable also supports 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor.
