The JBL Intellivox HP-DS370 Speaker's signal processing functions, necessary to properly drive a directivity controlled line-array with electronical aiming properties, is built into the loudspeaker enclosure.  It features an audio input module, two input / sixteen output channel DSP, sixteen power amplifiers with protection circuitry (each power amplifier shall drive one loudspeaker) and a switched-mode power supply.
