The MINI-COM TX-5e Module was specifically designed with increased Category 5e performance requirements. The module utilizes GIGA-TX Technology, which speeds installation and reduces conductor untwists to less than 0.4 cm to provide superior performance. The module terminates 4-pair 24-22 AWG 100 ohm solid unshielded twisted pair cable, 24 AWG stranded twisted pair cable and does not require the use of a punchdown tool. The forward motion termination cap places no localized stress on critical internal components for maximum reliability and is color-coded for universal T568A and T568B wiring schemes. TX-5e Modules are available in thirteen standard colors and can be clearly identified with labels and icons. MINI-COM Modules snap in and out of all MINI-COM faceplates and modular patch panels for fast moves, add and changes.
