MagTek Excella STX, Front & Back Printer, MSR

Excella STX is a single-feed check reader and dual-sided scanner specifically designed for electronic check applications.

Excella STX utilizes a single-feed check operation which allows for a compact design with feature-rich options: it prints on the front and the back of the check, reads MICR data and scans both sides of the check in a single pass, creating high-quality color, grayscale or black and white images in the most common file formats used in the industry. Furthermore, an innovative function transforms the check scanner into a hybrid scanner by offering single-side scanning of standard ID cards (e.g. driver's licenses) with the same device, no additional accessories required.

Excella STX's connectivity and API are also backwards compatible with Excella, a higher-end MagTek scanner with an automated feeder, making device integration effortless with existing applications. Excella STX also leverages MagTek's Internet-friendly design, ideal for web-based applications, with a built-in web server, native XML and HTTP protocols, plus Ethernet 100Base-T and USB 2.0 interfaces.
