IBM provides convenient post-warranty maintenance agreements (MA ServicePac) to help extend the life of your equipment and verify it is functioning properly. With an MA ServicePac, you can continue maintenance services once the original base warranty, Warranty Service Upgrade ServicePac or Maintenance Agreement has expired. IBM is there, 24 hours a day, every day. If your problem can't be fixed over the phone, IBM will schedule repair services, provide replacement components, or perform an equipment exchange according to your level of service coverage. In each case, coverage for parts and labor is included.
Service is only available for machines released and purchased in the United States. IBM reserves the right to inspect any machine not under current service to verify that the machine meets acceptance criteria.
