Ortronics Clarity6 patch cord technology represents a major improvement to the performance of Category 6 structured cabling. New advancements in controlling cord terminations provide benefits to cords, jacks and patch panels. A narrow performance tolerance range of the plug termination allows the mated hardware to be designed/centered to these cords.
Clarity6 cords use an enhanced Paralign 2 termination process. This process improves pair integrity between the point of exit from the cable jacket and the contact termination point. The plug is designed to the center of the range of TIA de-embedded plug NEXT values.
Clarity6 cords exceed TIA Category 6 component compliance. These cord terminations are finely controlled for better tuning to Clarity6 connecting hardware - creating optimum performance that is field measurable. The designed mated union of the cord with jack or panel port benefits from improved signal-to-noise ratio, providing a nearly transparent signal path.
