The high-sensitivity VB-M50B PTZ Network Camera captures video with remarkable color and clarity, even in very low-light environments. The camera's advanced lens with large aperture ratio ranging from F1.8 (W) to F2.4 (T) allows more light to reach its sophisticated CMOS image sensor, and Canon's powerful DIGIC DV III Image Processor helps to provide crisp images with remarkable color accuracy. Additionally, the camera's Bit Rate Stabilization feature can assure a more reliable connection by automatically suppressing bandwidth spikes when transmitting over cellular data.

To further enhance usability the VB-M50B also includes two features, Motion Adaptive Noise Reduction and Area-Specific Data Size Reduction (ADSR), which are both designed to help reduce data size while maintaining high image quality in important areas.

The VB-M50B also offers multiple image enhancement features including the new Clear IR Mode – which activates an Infrared Bandpass Filter that allows only infrared light to pass through to the image sensor – further contributing to this models capability to capture exceptional image quality even in challenging environments. Auto Gain Control allows users to determine the fine balance of video brightness and low noise, while Haze Compensation automatically enhances contrast and maximizes image quality when fog, haze, or smog are present. In addition, the VB-M50B also offers a selection of On-board Video Analytics including Moving Object Detection, Removed and Abandoned Object Detection.
