The X2-10GB-LR transceiver supports link spans up to 10-km with single-mode fiber (SMF). The J8437A-AX, Axiom X2 transceiver module is designed to provide optimal performance and reliability. Every X2 transceiver is tested to ensure guaranteed compatibility and meets all industry standards and HP specifications. Each Axiom X2 transceiver complies fully with the Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) which enables this transceiver to work in all MSA complaint platforms as well as function with other manufacturer's brands within the same network.
