The Perle IOLAN SCG M console servers provide data center managers with secure remote console management of devices with an RS232 RJ-45 or USB console port, such as routers, switches, firewalls, servers PBXs, network storage equipment and security appliances, through an IP network or integrated V.92 modem dial-up. The modular design of the IOAN SCG allows the user to swap, upgrade and scale to any mix-and-match combination of USB 3.0, RS232 RJ-45, or software selectable RS232/422/485 RJ-45 interface module cards.
With functionality that includes full routing capabilities with support for RIP, OSPF, and BGP protocols, Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP), two-factor authentication (2FA), integrated firewall, advanced failover to multiple networks, advanced network security features, recognized authentication schemes, and data encryption tools, IT administrators can feel confident that network data transmission, and all access to the console admin ports on IT equipment, is secure.
