Opengear OM1308-8E-C-LSP is a rack-mountable console server designed for smart out-of-band management and secure remote access to critical infrastructure. It combines wired Gigabit Ethernet connectivity with 5G cellular fallback and four nano SIM slots to help maintain device access when primary networks are unavailable. The unit supports multiple console interfaces including RS-232, USB-C console, and RJ-45/SFP for flexible device connections, and includes eight RJ-45 Gigabit ports for high-density wired management.
Security and centralized control are built in, with Trusted Platform Module 2.0, support for TACACS+, RADIUS, and Active Directory authentication, and IP-based firewall policy to help protect management traffic. Cloud-managed capabilities and Lighthouse Service Portal enable streamlined administration, while an onboard temperature sensor, wide operating humidity range, and external detachable antennas support reliable operation in varied environments.
