The Avocent DSR1024 KVM over IP switch is specifically designed for BIOS-level management of branch devices controlled by a single computer, such as ATM machines. Remote access via the one-port DSR1024 switch can help eliminate on-site maintenance costs and service calls. The switch includes one target device interface, one digital channel and a local port.

Attached devices can be cycled on/off with the dedicated power control port. External modem support is available if your network is down. Supported by DSView 3 management software, SNMP and IPMI, the DSR1024 switch provides hub and spoke failover capability - users can authenticate even when a primary server is unavailable.
