Pigtail HDMI Splitter Transmits 4K Video + Audio to 2 HDMI Displays at the Same Time
Recommended for home theaters or digital signage applications in classrooms, offices, houses of worship, restaurants, bars, hotels and trade shows, this 4K HDMI splitter is quick and easy to install. It connects to an HDMI source device, such as a laptop or Blu-ray player, and transmits an 4K audio/video signal to two HDMI monitors, projectors or televisions up to 16.5 feet (4K/60 Hz) or 33 feet (4K/30 Hz or 1080p) away.
Transmits 4K Video with HDR and 4:4:4 Color
The B118-002-4K6 supports Ultra HD 4K resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz with 36-bit Deep Color (12 bits per channel), as well as DTS, Dolby Digital (including DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD) and LPCM audio. It supports HDR (High Dynamic Range), providing a wide range of vibrant colors with richer contrast, brighter whites and deeper blacks that pop on your 4K display. HDCP 2.2 encryption allows you to stream 4K content with no loss in resolution. This splitter also supports uncompressed 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or for using your HDTV as a PC monitor.
Multi-Resolution Support Allows Mixing and Matching of Displays of Different Resolutions
Say you have a brand new 4K/60 Hz HDTV in the living room, but want to also connect your Blu-ray player or media server to the older 1080p TV in your home office. The B118-002-4K6 is backward compatible with 4K and 1080p resolutions via automatic switching, allowing each connected display to show video at its maximum resolution without affecting the other outputs.
Note
: User-supplied HDMI 2.0 cabling, such as P568-XXX-2A cables (sold separately), is required to achieve maximum resolution for each display.
Ready to Use Right Out of the Package
The plug-and-play B118-002-4K6 requires no software to download and install. User-supplied HDMI cables connect the splitter to both displays. A 23-inch pigtail with HDMI plug allows for flexible placement when connecting to the HDMI source. The included USB power cable connects to a USB wall charger or the source's USB port. LEDs indicate when the splitter is receiving power and which HDMI outputs are connected.
