The charging base mounts beneath a non-metallic desktop, counter, table, bench, shelf or any other flat surface using the included hardware or adhesive. Just place the ultra-thin charging pad on the desktop over the base's position, and place your phone, earbuds or other compatible mobile device on the pad for charging. The U280-Q01FL-UD is compatible with surfaces between 0.6 and 1.2 inches (15 to 30.5 millimeters) thick.

It provides up to 7.5W for charging Apple devices, 9W for Samsung and 10W for LG, Sony and others. It also protects your expensive device from overheating and overcharging that could lead to internal damage. An LED illuminates green to indicate the charging process is underway. A special Foreign Object Detection (FOD) feature helps prevent interference or device damage from foreign metal objects.
