The NVMe/SATA Adapter supports up to 700 MB/s write speeds over M.2 NVMe, and up to 6 Gbps over SATA III when connected to legacy 2.5in or 3.5in SATA drives. Please note that M.2 SATA drives are not supported.

Always eject the drive(s) safely through the Operating System before disconnecting. Avoid hot-swapping drives to prevent data loss or device damage.
You can use most M.2 NVMe or 2.5in drives without connecting the universal power adapter, as the USB connection provides sufficient bus power. The included universal power adapter is required when using a 3.5in SATA drive, connecting two drives at the same time, or if your M.2 NVMe drive requires more power than the USB connection can provide.
M.2 SATA drives are not supported
