Filler panels, also called blanking panels, are used to control the air flow inside of server racks. Without the use of blanking panels, the hot exhaust air from the servers can be recirculated through the server and significantly reduce the cooling efficiency of the system. Along with maximizing cooling efficiency, filler panels also help with power usage effectiveness (PUE) by keeping power consumption low. In any data center or IT lab the filler panels help give your rack a clean and professional look.
