The antenna is a four-element, MIMO, dual-band antenna that operates in the 2.4- and 5-GHz frequency ranges. The antenna is designed to be ceiling-mounted in an indoor environment.

This antenna is designed for use with Cisco Aironet access points and bridges but can be used with any 2.4-GHz or 5-GHz Cisco Aironet radio device that utilizes an RP-TNC connector. The antenna can be mounted on suspended ceiling tiles having a thickness between 0.5 in. (1.27-cm) and 1 in. (2.54-cm).
