AXIS T83 Microphones are discreet top-quality microphones very reliable even in demanding environments. The AXIS T8353A Microphone 3.5mm is capable of handling sound pressures of up to 138dB (max SPL), has a sensitivity of -44dB (relative: 1V/Pa) and has a high Signal to Noise Ratio of 68dB (relative: 1kHz @ 1Pa, 94dB SPL). An outstanding dynamic range of 97 dB allows for recording of complex scenarios.

AXIS T8353A has a 3.5 mm adaptor, compatible with Axis M-, P- and Q-line network video products supporting a 3.5 mm jack for microphone input.

The design of the AXIS T83 Microphone allows for discreet and flexible installation. The microphones can be used for covert audio detection or as a complement to an indoor video surveillance. An interrogation room can be a typical surveillance scenario where good audio quality is a key factor. The room can be located at a police station, customs office, detention or at a social office.
