The Axiom SFP-OC-3-LR1 is an industry-standard Small Form-Factor Pluggable Interface Converter (SFP) for packet-over-SONET/SDH (POS), optical networking, and ATM applications. This OC-3 SFP supports 40-km long reach link spans and operating at 155 Mbps is designed and tested to be 100% compatible in all Cisco switch, networking, and data center product lines and applications. This SFP supports extended temperature ranges and digital diagnostic functions (DDM) and is pre-configured and factory loaded with Cisco specific application code required for Cisco IOS, SMARTnet compliance, and the Cisco quality ID feature. Axiom transceivers are tested to perform functionally identical to the "original" transceiver. Complying fully with the SFF-8742, Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) enables this transceiver to work in all MSA complaint platforms as well as function with other manufacturer's brands within the same network.
