The 4 port, Raritan CompuSwitch CS4 (CS4-PENT) is a monitor/keyboard/mouse switch and is part of Raritan's economical, multi-platform, single-user KVM switch line. Its industrial strength and desktop or rack mount chassis makes CompuSwitch an ideal choice for corporate server rooms, computer test labs, and rack mount applications. The CompuSwitch CS4 also helps to eliminate the cost and clutter of unnecessary equipment, reclaim space, and improve operational productivity for a host of applications.

The CS4 is built with Raritan's unique, intelligent emulation technology, which dedicates an individual processor to each connected computer so that each computer always sees its own keyboard and mouse. This prevents keyboard and mouse lockups and ensures flawless bootup and operation of any mix of computers running any operating system.

CompuSwitch-PENT, Raritan’s KVM solution for the government market is currently undergoing EAL4+ Common Criteria certification. An international standard signed by 23 countries and recognized by many more, Common Criteria certification is required by many U.S. government agencies. Common Criteria is also an ISO standard 15408, ASCI standard 33, and an IEEE standard. Common Criteria was also adopted by the European Union.
