The QFX10000 switches offer a highly scalable network foundation to support today's most demanding data center and multicloud environments. Using the custom silicon Q5 ASICs, the high-performance, versatile QFX10000 switches scale from 3 to 96 Tbps of throughput, providing the capacity you need for long-term investment protection.

The switches offer architectural flexibility, so you'll never be locked into a proprietary solution. They can operate in diverse network environments, including EVPN/VXLAN, Layer 3 spine-and-leaf Clos network fabrics, or Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks with multichassis link aggregation group (MC-LAG).

Enabling hardware and software to work together as an intelligent, unified network, QFX10000 switches form the underlying data center infrastructure for Contrail Networking, which automates networking policy and performs lifecycle management for data center fabrics. Contrail Networking abstracts network connectivity using virtual overlays across legacy and cloud-native workloads running on servers attached to QFX Series Switches.
