The ZeeVee HDBridge 2640 is a 4 channel 1080p encoder & RF modulator that converts four component or VGA sources into standard digital cable channels and broadcasts them over existing coax cabling to an unlimited number of digital (QAM) tuner-equipped displays. The 2640 features four full-sized DIN inputs and includes four 3 ft DIN to multi-RCA breakout cables that enable connecting component video, composite closed captions, digital and analog audio. Optional ZeeVee DIN to VGA cables are required for connecting VGA sources. These connections are ideal for connecting satellite receivers and digital signage players.
Video is encoded into MPEG-2 and audio into AC-3. VGA input supports a wide range of resolutions up to 1080p. The unit also includes rack ears for easy mounting.
