The global spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) affects every one of us. The Connection team continues to keep those directly impacted by COVID-19 in our thoughts. Times like these remind us all what is most important—and Connection is here to support you in any way we can.
Our COVID-19 preparedness plans are part of a company-wide business resiliency program. The goal of these measures is to enable us to support your needs with a minimal level of disruption. We are working with our partner community to help ensure Connection’s supply chain remains sound. Connection currently sources technology products from more than 60 warehouse facilities across the country. If any facility is impacted, we can seamlessly change the sourcing to an alternate location in order to keep our supply chain running efficiently and effectively.
Because our people are the heart of our organization, we have implemented a program to ensure their safety and well-being. Activities include increased visitor screening and cleaning at our facilities, employee travel restrictions, and following health and hygiene guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Under normal business conditions, approximately 25% of our workforce is remote, with the remainder of our employees working in multiple sites across the country. We are expanding our remote capability for all essential positions to ensure that we are able to conduct business and serve you.
